Lost

With the unusual weather pattern and surviving health threats day in day out, it is so uncommon that we pray & thankful to God for letting us live another day, able to watch our love ones every morning, capable to train with the mercy of rain clouds and sunshine...which we should, actually.

I had a great lost on Friday evening, just when I was about to start reliving my spirit for the weekend race. Lost a good friend. Al-Fatihah to Ibrahim bin Mohd. Nasir. May Allah s.w.t. have mercy on him and place him among the greatest people in Jannah.

It was another reminder from Allah s.w.t. To me and to everybody else. Afterlife is eternal.

It shook me for awhile until I could overcome the sadness. It was shocking. The excitement to pack stuff for Powerman trip was put on hold.

A friend since 2004 when we first met at one of the weekend mountainbike ride. Since then, we were riding in and out of mountainbike trails, meeting and gathering more friends. Then we were away for awhile, keeping the family chores a priority. Those were the greatest days. But not until recently we were given the chance to catch up again during roadbike rides and events. I guess, the greatest moments brought us closer and the lost resulted to great emotions.

A few of us close friends took the opportunity to pay our last respect to Allahyarham the morning before we left for Seri Manjung. The sight of watching her 4 daughters shed tears. Reminds me of Kaklong. I pray that everything will be OK for his family and the best things come only from Allah s.w.t.

The next thing I knew, my sons were down with fever as well. Worry starts creeping in and the thought of bailing out shivers me. With a few checks and confirmations, I just had to make sure they are in good hands.

Our trip via Kuala Selangor trunk road was filled with memory talks about Ibrahim. Laughters and sad weaved together. Weather was so kind, as if it was playing Like Yesterday Once More - Carpenters.

Daripada Abu Hurairah r.a., Nabi s.a.w. bersabda:
"Terdapat enam hak Muslim ke atas seorang Muslim." Ditanyakan kepada baginda, "Apakah ia wahai Rasullullah?" Baginda bersabda: "Apabila kamu bertemu dengannya, ucapkanlah salam kepadanya; apabila ia menjemput engkau, tunaikanlah jemputannya; apabila ia meminta nasihat daripada engkau, berilah nasihat kepadanya; apabila ia bersin kemudian ia memuji Allah, jawablah untuknya dengan mengatakan yarhamukallah (semoga Allah merahmati kamu); apabila ia sakit, ziarahilah ia; apabila ia mati iringi lah jenazahnya."

  2. I'm sorry for your lost too tsar. What else can we be reminded about the greatness of Allah & how small are we kan? Allahuakbar.

In my yesteryears, I would be climbing mountains appreciating Allah's great creation. I missed those :]
