A letter to my Daughter

Dear Daughter,

Soon the world will open up for you. The view will be vast. They don't simply put 18 years old for anything besides just a figure, but it is synonym to how the mind and perspective grow and develop to see and the accept the world.

One can see it as a scary thing, but others anticipate it as opportunities. Be the later. It is a big step for you but such bigger steps will come as people climb towards the higher pyramid of life. Don't worry, the steps will be taken each at a time as the emotion and rational grow in harmony as long as we lead a good and blessed life.

I wish that this opportunity will be taken as a stepping stone towards a clearer vision of life. Enjoy the time, the sweet moment of a campus life to become mature in thoughts and interact lively instead of using technologies. Blend into communities. Discover your potentials, buff it up. This is the time. The time to prepare for the total survival skill once a bigger window opens up.

Hand in hand, academic and social skill will slowly guide oneself to vision the next 10 years of one's life. Put small goals and manage it one at a time. Put bigger or the ultimate goal as guidance to fulfill one's destiny.

All in all, prayers and doa to Allah s.w.t. will be the ultimate guidance.
