I suffered cough and soar throat throughout the week. It was unbearable at times especially night time. When all the accumulated fat and oil are transformed into sputum (kahak). I did got the cough syrup but made me sleepy. Not a good solution since I need to survive the day without sleepiness.
I had to abandone work on Thursday. I went yesterday, but I barely survive the whole 8 hours. It was taxing to the throat. It felt dry and itchy.
Adding salt to the wound, I received message telling that MARA pc loan will take legal action if I can't pay half the amount by 4.30 p.m. I was blunt and helpless. I was also glad that my sister and ex-hubby was willing to cash in three quarter of the amount, which I had to top up the remaining from the pay I just got from proofreading jobs. Unfortunately my next of kin didn't quite keen to lend in a hand due to recent crisis we had. Too bad.
These tests can bring me down to ground zero but I know I have to stay calm and don't give up hope. I shall pray and pray because the tests are from Him and only to Him that I must ask for help.
Today will be my last day at Deca. I have issued my notice of resignation via email last night. I took photos with some of the young staff yesterday. Today will probably be a busy day. Bismillah.
